We gave a bale of straw to our flock that (unknown to us at the time) had a wild bird nesting on it and now we have lice. When we first saw it, we bathed all of the flock, cleaned the entire coop and sprayed everything down. I didn't realize we had to follow up, so now our rooster is worse and I'm sure spreading it to the ladies. So now that we know what the cause is, we're switching back to our old wood shavings after cleaning everything again. But, do we bathe each bird again, or does spraying it work just as well?
