Pet Food Recommendations?

Definetely Flint River. It is by far the best I have ever found anywhere. I feed both my cats and dogs this food. All made with human grade food, have special for sensitive systems and no corn in the dog food. Has drastically improved the quality of life in all my pets. My cat had so many problems we didnt think it would be alive come last Christmas and he is still going strong and much healthier at 13.
Plus, they have free shipping. Costs more but worth it. Ordering is simple at three clicks!

I've tried a lot of foods and spent a lot of money, especially while working at my vet clinic, but I switched back to the standard Purina from the grocery store for all my cats and dogs. They like it the best and it has not been involved in any recall that I know of. Even my vet approves of it. The more costly foods were just getting to be too costly and my pets didn't like them.

I feed my dog raw meat--a blend based on what is available for cheap, but trying to keep to a prey based balance of meat, bone and organ meat. He is doing very well with it. He gets some veggies and a few grains from our table scraps.

I am a spoiled Iams user...will not feed anything else. My 10 month old English Mastiff is on Iams large breed puppy.

My three cats eat Iams as well. I call it preventative maintenance..you pay more for it..but less trips to the vet.
I have one cat who had the urinary tract problem only once..when I was so dumb as to switch his food...never again.!!

I feed my 8 pound min pin Taste of the Wild. It comes in salmon and duck flavors. No corn or fillers. Great food, great price. The small 5 pound bag lasts about 1.5 months.

I feed my cats Purina Healthy heart. I cant feed them food with dyes because it makes them puke. I dont know why, they need to put dyes in dog and cat food. The animals dont care what color their food is.

I feed solid gold. It's a little spendy but it's high in calories so I don't need to feed as much. My 50 lb dog gets 1 1/3 cup dry food a day, plus 1/4 cup canned food by Natural Balance frozen in his Kong, and peanut butter. It all stink pretty bad, but he loves it!

Taste of the Wild (a Diamond product, btw); Solid Gold (esp Barking at the Moon); and Life's Abundance are all quality pet foods.

Iams and Purina....well, if they work for your pets, you're lucky.

My great Dane and pitt bull won't eat anything except pedigree dry food, the yorkie and poodle mix get home cooked food. chicken thighs, rice, carrots and boiled eggs. Yes I spoil my babies,
