I hear ya buddy!
Aleve & unfortunately prednisone for chronic condition here
Also I go for natural anti inflammatory remedies, turmeric, tart cherry, etc.
Pain flare ups especially with barometric pressure & weather. I'm a human barometer. Arthritis is a bitch.
Ticks me off, got too much to do, don't have time to hurt!
Do some bone cracking stretches & blood pumping motions to get mobile, slap on the back brace, carpal sleeves, pop an Aleve & get busy you aging, aching body , but yeah...pain sucks!

A great annoyance for me is when people ask questions like, "where are they", "how much", "how many" "do they lay eggs" when one has posted a classified for 6 cockerels/roosters in, Granbury TX, free if you pick them up. Doesn't anybody actually read before replying? The second peeve is that once I repeat the requested information the questioner disappears.

Fortunately, this has not yet happened on the BYC Buy/Sell/Trade forum, but no one has expressed any interest there, either.
