Pet Peeves

Here’s one of my pet peeves. When there is a stack of dirty plates on the counter and someone puts a bowl on it. And then people are too lazy to move the bowl, so they just start another stack of plates! Gaaaahhh!!

EXACTLY!!! Or, possibly worse? They put a plate ON TOP OF THE BOWL! Nobody in my family understands the concept of stacking. Piling, they get.

Inner peace .... (sigh) Inner peace.

My sister worked in research looking for blood markers indicating a TBI. She said helmets didn't really do much except prevent full crush/break.

My brother-in-law is a paramedic. They call helmets for bikers "brain buckets".

Loud pipes can absolutely save lives. Sadly a lot of times people just don't see bikes. Anything that helps bikers be noticed can save them from being hit. If you don't see them the next best thing is that you hear them.
Helmets are by no means a guarantee of anything but anyone that thinks there's not much difference in wearing one or not has never wrecked a bike. Been there done that and I thank God I had a helmet or I would of never survived.
