Just ignore them or click the "not now" option. Where they offer you free shipping if you choose prime, ignore that and choose the free shipping that arrives a week later. You may have to hunt for the Not Now or No Thanks option, but it's there. It's usually just in small black letters on a white background, while the YES! PRIME! option is a big blue button right next to it ... but it's there! You don't want Prime! It's real easy to opt into and damn near impossible to get out of.Oh! Latest real pet peeve is not being able to use Amazon because I can't get past these prime trial offer screen on check out.

Wearing shorts and a pullover, like it's summer on your legs and winter on your arms.
Well we don't hear it in this part of Ohio, but I had a former manager who was from the south and he said "fixin' to..." all the time. It doesn't really bother me.Lol, what about when people are "fixin'..." to go somewhere or do something? Does that bother you, or at that point do you just throw in the towel and go with it?

I never heard that something "needs done" until I was in about 6th grade. I thought it was a country slang/regional phrase. But I've heard it in many different locales, big cities and rural areas alike. As long as we're talking semantics, it's annoying when people say "the machine needs fixed". It's more correct to say "the machine needs to be fixed".
