I can't stand the way my mom blows her nose...I get it! Worse part is, I probably do it the same way without realizing it.Yes, my husband reminds me that that is a brain disorder.I don’t usually "hear" anyone else chewing to that degree.

When DD was small and begging for everything in the checkout line I would raise her up to my level, slowly turn around, surveying the whole store. Then I would tell her, "This store is full of things. We're not getting those things, were getting These things" pointing to the conveyor. Surprisingly, it seemed to work.
