I don't 'dislike' sports. I just wouldn't turn my chair to watch the Olympics or the Super Bowl, unless the Saints were playing.

That's cool. It's a generational thing. We ALL expect everyone to be familiar with what WE know.

I read that that scene was written as a long complex sword fight that showed the fighting uses of a whip. (Something my Dad actually taught me.)
But when it came time to shoot the scene everyone was hot and tired or had dysentery. Ford said "Why don't I just shoot the guy?" It turned out to be one of the funniest parts of the movie.

I grew up with all the classics.. and I am still considered a young person. I guess.. I feel old most days, lol.

Me too. They're 'Classics' for a reason.
I also like the 40's swing era. That stuff was 'bleeding edge' in it's day.

It's all relative. When 'MTV' came out, That was New stuff to me. The stuff in the 90's was New but I was in Love and went with the times.
The point is, the stuff you find so edgy now will some day be fossil music, the Golden Oldies. Figure out what YOU like and to Heck with everyone else.

Me too I just have songs and people give me recommendations on music. the radio plays the same songs all the time
