How attached are you to the clothing?
What a nuisance.

In fighting my own battle with wood chips I found that duct tape works great, Make your own Sticky lint catcher. What the tape misses, use a tweezer.

Also, you know those doctor's appointments where you're waiting and sometimes you might bring a bag of books to read? Bring your lint projects as well, the lady crocheting or knitting next to you will have nothing on you and your duct tape lint catcher & tweezers.

Odds are, by the time you both leave the doctor's office, she'll only be about 20% done her project, while your sweater will be ready to wear, lint free.

(Tell her it's the latest repurposing craze...You're gonna spin yarn from the collected lint! )

People who wear dark clothing when they walk around at night.
I only saw one lady because her dog had a reflective collar and when I was trying to give her wide berth and someone was walking on the other side of the road wearing dark clothing, I didn't even see him until he looked my way. (he's ok).
