Pet Peeves

There is no 't' at the end of the word 'across.' No, I don't know what is 'acrost' the street, because I have no idea what 'acrost' means. And don't think I don't know you're reading this, hon. ;)
Hahaha I tease my mum all the time about her Newfoundlander accent and that she says ‘tree’ instead of ‘three’.

But not a pet peeve, I thinks it’s cute 😊

When I order a cup of decaff coffee at a restaurant, with cream, and the server doesn't bring me a spoon, and there is no spoon in the setup, just a knife and two forks. Hello? Should I stir it with the butter knife? And by the time she comes back and asks if I need anything and I ask for a spoon for my coffee and she says, Sure, I'll be right back with that and 20 minutes later she finally shows up with it (thank you so much!), my coffee is ice cold, sigh.

. . . I always stir using butter knives, even when there is a spoon  . . .

Okay. But I want to taste. Make sure I have the sweetness just right and just enough cream. And yeah, I could pick up the cup and take a sip. But .... I want a spoon. Guess I'm funny that way.

People that whine on facebook about how we serve our school lunches. Ok, first of all, you can pack your kids' lunches if they don't like what we serve. Second of all, if YOU, as a parent, have issues with us, call the food service administrator and talk to her. Saying something, anonymously, on facebook gets you nowhere. Have some balls and say something to the school. No wonder your kids are pansies, you taught them that

You tell 'em, Trip! Anonymous Gripers, grr. Or they can talk to the school board, right? See above for the best cure.

Talking to the school board will get them no where. They just need to call the school, they can transfer them to my boss, who is the one the idiots need to talk to

Original Poster: my bird is having xyz problems, I feed goat food, celery and boiled penne pasta, she lives in 27 gallon storage tote in the corner of the porch, she free ranges every other day when I take her down to the lake to play with the wild ducks.
What do I? 😭

Experienced Member 1: It could be this, this or that, but you'll need a vet to confirm.
I'd recommend rethinking her current life for her, it's not the best for her for these reasons.

Experienced Member 2: I second that it could be this, but she really does need a better set up, what's she has now is bad for her mental and physical health and exposes her to tons of illness.

Experienced Member 3: I believe the root cause to be this, which is caused by any of the care methods you listed, you absolutely need to change the way you keep her, all these things aren't good for her and will kill her eventually.

New Member: Don't listen to the haters, you do what you think is best for your baby. Try some supplements and oils.
✨️️Good vibes!✨
