Oh my gosh, sometimes we'll get into the same thing with paper towels. We get the type that are perforated as "half sheets", and that causes a lot of confusion when requesting a paper towel.

"Do you want a full, or a half?"
"Just a half."

Finding the corner of the dish towel with the hanging loop. 25% chance to get it first try. It's ALWAYS the last corner I check.

Also, whenever you have to do a task with odds, but the odds never match up with your actual luck.

Examples
- Plugging in a USB cable. 50/50 chance for the correct orientation right? Nope. More like 1 in 20.

Usually I can get a USB-A cable in first try, especially if I know the orientation of the port.

USB-C doesn't have that issue. Instead, it has one of my new pet peeves: Having a zillion different USB-C speeds and standards, therefore having a universal connector that can be incompatible with one device. UGH.
