I've never been to anyone's house who burned scented logs . Where I come from we cut real trees and burn real firewood

I think they're usually manufactured "logs" of pressed sawdust and wax or something. I don't get it, either.

Someone was burning some kind of artificial cinnamon scented logs here in town the other night. You know that harsh artificial cinnamon scent they add to holiday decor? It was like that but coming in through our vents. Bleh. To be fair we have a lot of drug use around here so it could have been something drug-related, too.

There's even a KFC scented "log." Just... why??

Here's one that's supposed to smell like coffee.

If you want to enjoy the aroma of coffee, couldn't you just, oh, I don't know... maybe... make some coffee?

I've never seen these scented logs. We use a wood burner so we wouldn't smell them anyway

Pet peeve from today. Trying to put something nasty into the garbage bag, and the bag not cooperating. One hand holding the bag, one hand holding the icky thing. The ickier the thing, the harder it is to get it into the bag!

Along these lines ... whoever removed the previous (full) bag to burn it or carry it out to the curb, not putting a new bag in the trash container under the bathroom or kitchen sink ... and there I stand, with the icky thing in hand, trying to remove a new bag from the box, fluff it out, and wrestle it into the trash container with one hand ... because yah, that's just sooo much fun.

Hardware cloth (and chicken wire) scratching me and tearing my clothes.
