Oh do tell us that state it sounds like one I might like. Oh wait I know it is the one that is not a police state where the government does not babysit their residents.

Ever visit another state and kinda discover that they're about 40 years behind the rest of the country socially? I'm not going to mention the state, but there is on state I can think of off the top of my head where I almost went insane during my last visit there 2 years ago because they are stuck in the 50s.

How about handicapped parking at trailheads? Like they have trouble getting across the parking lot but a 7 mile hike is just a challenge? Nothing against handicapped, but this makes no sense to me at all.

I agree it is respectful but just don't call me maam lol. My kids do to other people but not to me.
