Pet Peeves........

Good point. I don't dwell on my pet peeves, too busy to set and just fester about them, but when some of the things I posted DOES happen, it gets to me because of the meanness or just plain ignorance it took to do it in the first place. The belief that you do what you want because its what you want to do is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT right. Needs to be squashed and taken completely out of existance. Everything we do, EVERYTHING, has a beginning and an end. Just make sure the end is not going to hurt someone else. . .Sorry, getting off pet peeve's!

There isn't anyone on here who isn't happier to be alive and well (I think) and happy than me . . .just because we vent doesn't mean we are unhappy. EVERYDAY my feet hit the right side of the earth, I say thank you for another chance and another day to do something GOOD.

Sorry . . . I know people like this too, and its like they can't stop their mouth before it falls out. . .I also get really peeved at people who say things to someone who has a sick family member and its scaring them to death, and someone will say something totally inappropriate and thoughtless. One time a friend of mine had one of her daughters that had severe headaches and was having a slight seizure with some of them, and she was telling me about it at school one day when we were waiting for the kids to get out, and another older mother who had the biggest mouth in town (and still does, proved it at her grandson's bb game this summer) said, "oh, I bet its a brain tumor. My MIL had the same issues, and it turned out to be a brain tumor. She died from it." I was never so got in my life as I was when she said that to my friend, who was a cry baby as it was, and then to say something like that . .. .happily, it was just migraine's and she was fine after some new medication, and she eventually outgrew it . . .but I still think about that incident and how it just broke my friends heart to be told that . . .

To Facebookers that have witnessed drama and that can relate:
"If you have something to say to me say to my face!" Which was said on Facebook. Not a peeve but I suppose it could be for someone. I think it's funny, the person just contradicted her/himself. I only like Facebook for two reasons, connections and free entertainment.

Uhm, fake people. Mother and I were at Macy's today out in town and we saw something pretty common but intresting. A group of notorious beggars shopping for the high priced brand new items. I say notorious because my mom and I have seen them alot at stores like Wal-Mart, 99cent Store, Ross, Vons, Albertsons, mini malls, and parking lots. The ladies are outside stores and in parking lots begging for money, I guess they're all friends since they were all together. One of them bought a $600 Coach purse.

Made my mom mad.. She got mad at the fact that my mom was buying a 50% off purse that was already on clearance. Okay that's not the fact.. She got mad that these ladies who dress up as hobos and beg for money outside of stores, tricking people begging for money to buy food when they actually buy expensive material items.... I'm "eh" about it.

They could be hobos who are spending money on stupid stuff when they could be buying food, they could be just too lazy to go get actual jobs, I don't know. But people like that kind of sicken me.

We never gave them money anyways. I gave a lady 5 bucks once in Santa Monica and right after I gave her the money I knew she was a fake. Another lady in a cafe shoppe across from where I was with the lady was staring an awful lot. I walked away a bit, pretending to be on my way as I was curious about the two ladies, and I saw the hobo looking one give the other one the money from the McDonald's soda cup. They're lucky I didn't follow the pretend hobo around yelling and pointing "SHE'S A PHONY! SHE'S NOT POOR! PHONY!".

Another peeve of mine.. Those annoying people in malls at those kiosks that plunge at you while you're walking saying "hey you try this try this this this this". I either ignore them or say "get your grubby paws off of me!" depends what my mood is.

Or the pushy salesman at the home depot that starts talking to you when you get near them and their product. In this circumstance I think being rude is OK when you just walk away.

I get annoyed at how people don't know the difference between or confuse Araucanas, Ameraucanas, and Easter Eggers. I hate it even more when people try to tell me what the difference is!
I don't like how people think that I don't know stuff when I actually know more than them.
I hate the people who sell puppies/kittens in Walmart parking lots.
I don't like how kids my age think that they should continue doing stupid things because it's 'cool' to do the opposite of what adults tell them (high school kids are generally not-smart)
I do not like how people use the word 'retard' as a synonym for stupid (this is part of the above pet peeve)
I consider buying hermit crabs and keeping them in plastic containers with rocks and feeding them commercial food neglect (they are much MUCH more complicated them that!)

Another peeve of mine, pigeon abusers.
I keep holding back when I see someone throw something at a pigeon or kick them. I need to stand up for the little guys but I keep holding back! When I was in LA the other day a young woman yelled at some pigeons "get the f-bomb away from me!" and kicked at them. I felt bad for the pigeons.. She was eating and the pigeons were just doing their job, being moochie. If I had some food I would have fed them! I would love for them to swarm around me!

And anyone who wanted to abuse them would get a taste of their own medicine..
rant.gif
I would scold them!
I know pigeons have diseases but so do stray cats and dogs yet plenty of people feed them because they like em'. Well, I like pigeons.

The worst is when people try so hard to convince you they're right when know what your talking about completely. I'm not saying I'm always right but whenvim sure I am and you know you're not don't tell me you are just to seem smarter. That is the most agrivating thing ever!

Yes I hate giving money to people. I will buy food for them sooner, then give money.
When I worked at a grocery store, right down town. We made those BBQ chickens, that you can buy. So anywhoo, the left overs when we closed I could take home. Well a starving student myself. Could only eat so much chicken. So when the beggers would ask for money, I would offer a chicken, fully cooked, in a nice grocer bag. You know how many people said no, that they wanted money.. Too many.
I remember when I was young, I once had to beg for money. I got 2 dollars, and went and bought a loaf of bread. I ate that for 2 days. To proud to beg for something I didn't need. I had peanut butter sandwiches. Was awesome, when your really hungry, you are thank-full to eat that everyday all day.

I guess I have a couple more, my first is being called by my older sisters name, I just hate that, I dont get along with my family and try to forget about them.

the second is we are on the lower end of the money scale, but we try our best to help people out, not with money but by doing good deeds, one summer we had a really terrible storm come through town on the July 4th weekend. We spend the entire rest of the summer and alot of the fall cleaning up peoples trees, for more than one reason, first we need wanted to help, second we needed firewood and third because we were looking for unusual trees for my companion to carve.

Some of the people were really grateful, one person gave us a gift certificate to eat out, another 2 bags of real homegrown beef, and alot of thank yous, that's all we really wanted was the thank yous, then there was some that didnt say a word and have ignored us since then. We did this for free, using our own vehicles, chain saws and gas.

One more, a friend of ours gave us a bunch of potatoes for us and our animals, all we had to do was sort them out of the dirt, he even delivered them to us. 2 full farm truck loads! After I had sorted for a couple of weeks we decided that there was much more than we would use and started telling other low income families to come and bring their boxes and get as much as they wanted all they had to do was sort them out. I dont know how many families we told maybe 12 or more, only 2 families showed up, I thought how lazy can you be, free food just for picking it up and they were good potatoes, golden youkon. So I just started telling everyone, finally we were able to get rid of alot of potatoes, but none of the low income families showed up, it was other people.
