I rescued a pheasant who is very malnourished and infested with mites. Eggs are cracked to skin and feathers. Currently quarantined and I used alot of mite spray of it. What else can I do? Should I cull? Never in my life of poultry have I seen such conditions.

Once the mites are gone and a good diet is given, you will likely be amazed how fast the pheasant improves. If the bird is eating and drinking I would not cull as the situation has a very good chance of improving quickly.

How is the pheasant by now? I hope that the mite treatment was successful.

I would also consider a thorough deworming of the bird which would help with weight gain and overall well being.

Good luck!
