Definitely takes more time to get decent tails. They were way too high and not much length at all. I used standard silver and splash golden roosters, but the project would have been better with a silver non molter. They are more slim birds and could possibly produce better feathering I f2-f3

I never even heard of splash golden outside if pheasants

Somehow CRD has been introduced to my outside flock... the birds in the brooders are fine as they are isolated away from the main flock. So trying to treat that... bugger.

I ordered antibiotics because the whole darn county is sold out. It has hit the Silkies and Sultans hard. Anyway this respiratory thing I just wish I knew how it was introduced... I will be treating and sanitizing away... for a bit. Sigh.
