PHILIPPINES BYC GROUP

What will the price of them be Oz ?

here in lies the problem:

they are goimg to require shipping and handling. handling is the big part. Mrs Oz would turn me into a capon if I asked her to line up at a shipping company for 30 minutes to an hour for 30pesos profit. and then turn me into adobo if I did it 3 times in a week.

the juice is not worth the squeeze. from a financial standpoint but I am torn between helping bycers and not getting into it at all.

so here is the solution:

I will only sell them with orders of birds except to established customers and BYCers who get a one time opportunity to buy and I will ship when I am there April 2 to 20.My snall quantity price is 3 for 100, 7 for 200, 20 for 500 plus LBC costs

1 nipple is good for 6 birds but you need a min of 2 to be safe so 3 nupples for 12 chikens.

if you want to try selling them, I will order for you and import them if you pay in the next few days 50 for 1500, 200 for 4000 including shipping but you carry any customs risk.

My new chicks. :)

The pictures above are what things looked like when I got back to Cagayan de Oro.
UniTop purchased property next to us and filled in about 5 feet of dirt and flooded out
most of the surrounding property. There was a concrete pipe going under the road for
drainage of the area. But, they covered it completely with no objection from the government.
When it rains it is very bad for some of the residents in the area. My area was the least
affected. Very wet but manageable.

Below are the pictures of the beginning of my improvements. Which involved building a
small retaining wall for the chicken coop area about 24 inches tall and filling it with sand to
solve the problem. I have now almost completed the coop. I will post pics of it in a day or
two. Once the coop is completed I will get some Australorps and RIR's from Oz and start
my chickens all over again. I would like to find a couple of Kabir hens and put with the Australorps
for a year and then with the RIR's for a year. And see what the results of the crosses will be.
If they look good I will take the two crosses and breed them together and go from there.

Hope everyone is enjoying the El Nino weather pattern we are under. Everyone have a
great day.

Jimmy
