My cousin used to have quails, we enjoyed collecting their eggs, and they usually lay eggs around afternoon. The male quails also crow and they have a small bulge on their butt.

You're kidding me!! do they really crow??? How does it sound like? Omg i didn't know quails can crow!

Haha I was just a child, I did not know what to feed him. Lol

Haha. Makes sense. Local farmers here don't get the chicks because they are small. They let them go. Others bring them home for their kids to play. Unfortunately, most of them die or end Up having broken legs. :(

these quail are cotornix

no bulging buts and ni crowing

they are still called pugo in the phils

our quail are 360 to 500g each

the hens lay an egg a day with a decent high protein diet.

our quail are mixed so the color is either the brown or brown and whte

a kilo of quail eggs is produced from 3kg of feed. a great source of protein for the poor

What is the breed of quail that crows and has bulging butt? My cousin used to have those quails and they are small compared from your quails in Cocopoultry website.
