PHILIPPINES BYC GROUP

they dont go broody

they are easy to sex as adults

you need 1 male to 3 females so just eat extra males

Do they need a male to lay egg? there are wild quails found in some of our fields but it's hard to catch them as they run really fast. Farmers hate them because they destroy a big part just to create a nest. their chicks are black but very alert and it's impossible to catch once they learn to run. Farmers create traps to catch them. Lol

once i hatch a few i will set the price but they will be very affordable

its will be 10 weeks before i can deliver

10 weeks? That's a perfect timing for me. My almost 2-week chicks will be 12-ish week by then so i can integrate them with my older chooks. Then i can use the cage for the quails. Clap clap clap!

The local "pugo" quail is not good for eggs and meat they are very small. And they are hard to raise.

Haha i call it secret farm lol! My rir roo wakes my mom and sister everyday. He crows at exactly 530am and won't stop until they extend their cage. Lol

i just checked cocopoultry website and oz offers 2 types of quails. @ozexpat are you selling both breeds in 10 weeks?

cool! I think it's exciting to collect their eggs everyday. My mom loves to cook chopsuey and we want lots of quail eggs on it. Lol

My cousin used to have quails, we enjoyed collecting their eggs, and they usually lay eggs around afternoon. The male quails also crow and they have a small bulge on their butt.
