can you work from home in a BPO?

I have the privilege to work from home. The company provided me a laptop and they pay for my internet so i can work from home most especially during typhoons. I don't take in phone calls, so yes i can work from home.

I WOULD TAKE THE MONEY LOL

BTW I am now arriving Sat morning. I am supposed to be escorting my wifes Aunt and Uncle so I changed for them. Now I am not sure if they are coming :th

Lol i'd love to report to work if they pay me double. Sometimes i want to go back to being a rank and file and enjoy the double pay benefit. Haha

wow, few days more. welcome back!

i only feed it the first 2 weeks to baby chicks

then i feed them 22% starter/grower till they are 8 weeks old

at 8 weeks of age i switch to 15% grower

this gives the birds bones time to become large enough to support them

i tend to keep my birds on grower feed till they either start laying or when they reach 20 weeks of age

whichever comes first

Thanks @piglett. I think since my birds are cagef, i must give them the right feeds so they can grow up to their real size.

Its great that nutrition comes up.here.

Its really important to feed a good diet to young birds. Many people skimp or feed too much low protein kitchen scraps.

In saying that, feeding too high a proetin level is bad for birds. The birds will often be skinny because their hunger drive switches off when they have enough protein - actually they will eat past their protein need to a certain extent but not enough to meet their energy needs. This extra protein is pooped out in the form of ammonia and makes the coop stink.

The following is the recomended needs for layer type breeds. For dual purpose breeds add 2%. Note the energy requirements dont change - just the protein levels

Energy base kcal ME per kilogram diet* Growing 0 to 6 weeks Growing 6 to 14 weeks Growing 14 to 20 weeks Laying Laying, daily intake per hen** Breeding
2,900 2,900 2,900 2,900 2,900
Protein (%) 18 15 12 14.5 16,000 mg 14.5

Several studies show that over 18% in adult birds decreases egg size, production rates and chicken weight.

We mix our own feeds.

Our quail chick feed is the most expensive because its 28% protein. This is also fed to Guinea keets for 4 weeks and Chukkar chicks. If we had turkey poults, we would feed it to them as well.

When we make it ourself we pay the equivalent of 1120 pesos per 50kg sak, or 22.4 pesos per kg

20% chick feed for our chickens costs us 920 per 50kg sak or 18.4 pesos per kg

Adult bird feed (all except quail) is 820 per 50kg sak or 16.4 pesos per kg.

if you feed scratch feeds like cracked corn, or fruits, make sure you only feed 5% of the diet or you will dilute the protein too much

In the phils you can add nutritious treats in the form of a branch from a malunggay, mulberry or jackfruit tree. Ipil Ipil is ok too but again just a small branch hanhing in the coop.

When birds freerange, most of the things you see them peck at are bugs. These are great protein and thus can balance extra kitchen scraps.

They have an amazing array of products. I did a search on the labeling of feeds in the Phils and this is what I came up with:

BMEG PRODUTS (Nutritional Analysis is available from http://thefilipinovet.com/)
BMEG Integra 1000 Chick Booster crude protein 21% min, crude fiber 4% max, crude 4.0% min, crude ash 10% max, moisture 12% max. 1620p
BMEG Integra 2000 Grower Crude protein 19% maximum, crude fiber 5% maximum, crude fat 4.0% minimum, crude ash 10% maximum, moisture 12% maximum. 1550p
