Hello everyone. Just wanna share some pix taken last Sunday. I let our broody native hen sit on 15 bbso and bo eggs. 10 hatched but 2 died.

This little guy didn't make it.

Thanks jimmy. It makes me feel sad that 2 died but i have 8 alive so i am still thankful.

I have more eggs and put some under another broody hen. My brother is thinking of making an improvised bator. He just love my chickens bec they are very huge compared to our native chooks.

That's what it feels like when you little ones. Just like a grand parent would feel about their grand children.

I just put a native hen in with my Kabir today. Maybe I'll get a good cross breed that will lay more eggs and not be as gigantic as the Kabir????
