Phoenix Crosses

I have hatched a chick that is a mixed breed, and I was wondering if you can help identify the cross bantam chick?

Here she is.

I've been working with Phoenix, Yokohama, Serama, and Polish crosses for three years. Below is picture of a young rooster who is 3/4 Phoenix and 1/4 Polish. His tail is still growing out after losing it earlier this summer. Any thoughts as to how long it will get?

I was hoping to see a little crested like the polish, but he really handsome. I think his tail will grow up to 2 or 3 feet if you keep him in a good place. Breed him back to a polish or polish cross hen/pullet.

I do have a younger cockerel that has a small crest. He's 1/2 Yokohama, 1/4 Phoenix, and 1/4 Polish. I'll post a picture when his feathering grows a bit more. I had a crested pullet of a similar cross that I was hoping to pair him to, but lost her during a severe storm.

I'm going to pair the pictured roo to a full Yokohama and back to his Phoenix mother; the mother has a nest with 5 eggs. She's always gone broody when she has 12 or so eggs in the nest. If all goes well those chicks will be 7/8 Phoenix.

I started long tails with an assorted mix of hatching eggs. Many of the eggs hatched, but the chicks were not strong and hardy. All but three died. Those three were a Phoenix cockerel, pullet, and a Yokohama pullet. The cockerel, like the chicks that died, was not a vigorous bird a didn't live long.

Retired living on a fixed income does not allow for many frills. So, having two strong long tail hens I decided to do some crossing and "make" my own long tail rooster.

Picture could be better. I'm surprised how fast the feahers grow

This cockerel is younger. His little crest doesn't show.

1/2 Yokohama-1/4 Phoenix-1/4 Polish.
