Ohhh, it's not that lol. But I would set that to the one to the right that is three frames stacked. That's called high speed continuous so you can take multiple shots really fast. Let me do some research real quick...
Ok. Will do.
Thanks!

Here it is, i think. Press this one and you can select a single AF point. Wherever that point is, is where the camera will focus. It is either the entire viewfinder or a single AF point. I use a single AF point almost exclusively. I typically just leave it in the center. Then I crop afterwards to get my composition right so the subject isn't in the center of the pic.

Ok! Thank you! I'll try this next time I'm out taking pictures. Thank you so much!

You're welcome. Here's the instructions on it. You might try setting it to automatic AF like in the highlighted portion. That way it will prioritize the center AF point but if the subject moves it will try and follow it some. That or just a single AF point will work.

What do y'all think of this one?
I like it.

If we're nitpicking, when you zoom in you'll notice the eyes are not in focus. It looked like it focused in between the eyes. The cat's left eye is almost in focus though, very close.

The closer you are to your subject the harder it is to nail focus because of how shallow the depth of field is. This would be a good time to use a single AF point and place it directly on one of the eyes (preferably the cats left eye since it's closer to you, though ideally you would want both in focus).

I might would zoom out or back up just a hair to try and get the entire head/ears in the photo, but that's just me and it's really personal preference. This would give you a little more depth of field which will help in getting the eyes and the entire face in focus.
