I would like to know out of all these which one is the best?

This is 35mm f/1.8 1/5 sec iso 400. the DoF is very narrow with the lens wide open and the focus fades in on the eyes, then back out. away from the camera. Lighting is ambient in the room, coming from later afternoon windows on the left facing north.
Thanks!! Adorable🥰 I see what you’re saying, with the eyes being in focus. I have a hard time getting exactly what I want in focus. What about these settings should be different? Sorry we are all bombarding you😂

I could concentrate on getting your focus dialed in and consistent, and then worry about settings. Switch to spot metering so you have one focal point for your autofocus target vs matrix, which applies the af settings over a wider area and may pull the focus from your intended target. for a D3500:

Once you're getting the focal point down consistently, you can start tuning depth of field and exposure.
