gryeyes I know it! Another BYCer said she looked like she had bloomers on and now everytime I see her I think of that LOL!

PepsNick, I am getting it this Sunday at 3:00pm! It is being delivered and set up. The builder also knocked off the 60.00 for gas because it took longer than expected so that helps a lot.

I keep telling the girls "Soon you will have a nice big coop!" but I will be on here looking for EASY roost ideas! It doesn't come with a roost so I need to get a little mechanical and fix one up for them. A 6x8 foot coop will be shared between 6 birds, which gives each chicken about 8 feet of coop space, plus all day free range time

I got a big coop in case I ever need to lock them up for more then the night. Ya never know! Plus, more room the better

Nah I remember you! LOL Just call everybody by screen names. I know gryeyes too, but I call her that on here

The coop doesn't come with nest boxes but I have two BIGGER gals, so I am making specialized nest boxes to fit the BBH (big beautiful hens lol)

My Mom just informed me that later this spring she would like to get one Rhode Island Red and one Black Australorp, she saw pictures and fell in love. So it will be 8 chickens in a 8x6 coop, just at night though they free range during the day. Everybody is super happy, and I think Joon is going to lay soon, she is fire red and the days are definately getting longer! Yaaaaay!
