Here are some more pics from the 2009 Cajun Classic this past weekend. These are a few pics of the plantation, Silkies, and the European judges.
Here is the Plantation, which was the venue for the show;
FEMA kicked us out! LOL
(we opted to keep our birds contained ourselves because the shows were too small as they were build for Seramas)
Me, Hans Ringnalda, and Ross. (Hans wrote the "Silkie Bible!)
Hans, and the judges. The guy with the beard and the glasses is Gary Overton, the US Judge. They judged our birds very differently than regular shows. We had to bring our birds to the picnic table for an evaluation by the judges. They wrote EVERYTHING down on the coop cards, and we got to keep the cards for future reference.
And of course no Cajun chicken show is complete without good food, good music, and cajun dancing!!
