Interesting. That's how some hatcheries mark their cockerel chicks for the customers.​

Definitly an Easter egger, but I would say its a rooster. I have never had a 7 week old ameraucana pullet whos comb you could see from the side(you were lucky if you could see any comb from looking straight on).

I vote boy, a very pretty one none the less.

Looks just like 2 of my EE's except mine have more ear poofs. Did you get her from Meyers?

I got her/him from a local farm supply store, Del's farm supply. I think it might be a rooster. I didn't suspect it until I saw the responses on here and now she/he has developed three very red combs overnight!
