Pick up from Meyer's

Oh you make me want to go to Meyers - I am craving a chicken fix so bad! I want Columbian Wyandottes - I have (fingers crossed) 10 eggs in the bator of Light Brahmas for a 3/14 hatch so if I just wait a week!

And then I will have my chickie fix! I'm also setting eggs next week too! Buckeyes and Black Jersey Giants - one dozen of each!

I'll be going to Meyers with a couple friends in 2 weeks to pick up my chicks! I can't wait!

I ordered my chicks from Meyers and got my chicks 13 hours after they were shipped! I am 3 hours away and paid for express shipping instead of paying for gas. They all came healthy and happy. I was very impressed with the quality of chicks that Meyers has.

YAY I just recieved my order from meyer's I ordered 12 buff orps and 13 RiR I just got a call from the post office and went to pick them up they are all healthy and happy right now they are in the brooder staying warm and munching on thier food I think ones a rooster though because he is noticeably darker than the others and he is loud lol I mean he looks kinda like the other RIR but I could swear he was another breed of chicken

Sometimes is it great! Other times......not so much. I sure did have a lot of explaining to do, they DH kept asking where did these chicks come from! Me and my friend were going up about 1 time a month!!!

For us it would be doubly bad cuz my DH loves them more than me!!! Plus he's out and about a lot for work so he'd find reasons to swing by any hatchery to see what they had on sale..............​

I have heard that ducks are hatched and shipped from other sources. Like ordering hatching eggs from Double R in Fla, their fertile eggs come from TX. At least mine where. John
