Doesn't scream Cochin to me, either. and I'm thinking more likely Barred Rock than Dominique, based on the comb - but I've not pulled up the genetics chart yet to see how the combs might change in the offered cross.

I think that single combs are recessive? Did some quick googling and I think that you need to cross two singles to get a single. @MysteryChicken is better at this than me.I think if there is straight comb in there it’s gonna come out with a straight comb, I think?
