I'm just now seeing this and my heart broke when I heard Pickles is gone.
At least you have wonderful memories and chicks to make even more of those memories with.

Well, updates have been few and far between for a while after Pickles passed away. I am sad to say that yet again the predators tricked me. This time they took every single silkie chick. All of them have passed. I will not be updating for a while. We are going to renovate the coops and fix some stuff up next spring. I will not be updating until then. So in summary Pickles thread will temporarily be shut down.

Oh no! All the silkies! Poor babies and I'm sorry for you too. Is their coop predator proof? Hopefully next time this won't happen.

Thank you. Their coop is predator proof, it was my fault I forgot to double check and lock them up. Those coyotes have some nerve, they were on my front porch last night! I will definently make sure their new coop will be very, very predator proof.
