Does anybody else have picky eaters? For treats I mean. My four won't eat hardboiled egg, cottage cheese, yogurt, hash browns, and I gave up trying anything else lol.

I have brought them some worms from the garden (they have grit it's BLUE! I thought it was weird heh), and at first they were so scared but now they love them. Of course Binny, the supposed roo, bullies the other three and always gets the worms, he devours them.

When I had chicks, most were afraid of bugs and apprehensive about trying new foods, too. However, it would usually just take one adventuresome pullet to try and then usually they all did. I also would peck at stuff with my finger to help them get the idea it was suppose to be food. Occasionally it would work.

Mine aren't baby chicks anymore, but I do have one picky eater still in the bunch. My leghorn generally only likes white treats or things pretty close to white. The only exceptions I can think of are BOSS, oatmeal, and bread. She is a weird chicken sometimes, and my husband calls her Frankenchicken since she came out of a grocery store egg anyway. My other chickens eat everything I offer.
