Those are both boys. The one is a little younger than the other by a couple of weeks.
The roo in the back ground of both pictures is the younger one so his comb is not as large as the other.
Marans develope large red combs early if they are boys. You should be able to tell your girls from boys pretty quickly.

I saw one of their daddies ( they are from two different sets of parents).
The one daddy was HUGE. I think the older one I have is going to be his offspring because he is just really thick.

You guys should join the thread for all the Florida BYC'rs. They started a list of where everyone is, as well as one of all the people breeding/ selling eggs and chicks.

I'm sure I will have extra Ameraucanas. I have the most of that breed at the moment. I just need to see which are roos and which are hens.... I have some nice stock too...

I incubated 32 of my production reds x black copper marans & before they all hatched I order 36 more eggs from byc & then I borrowed a friends bator and order 12 from 1 lady and 24 from another. Now I am still looking to buy more. p.s. I went to my good buddy and bought 17 more laying hens to sell more eggs to buy more eggs please help.
