So are you all happy with Metzer Farms Ducks/Geese???
I am looking to order for the spring..and I know hatcher chickens are well...a watered down version of the breeds, and I really want some quality ducks and geese.
How are they on their orders and customer service. What about mess up orders? Do they make good?

I've been ordering Golden 300's and white egg layers every 2 years, and have always had good customer service. No problems with any of my ducks yet.

does anyone know if Metzers 300's are the same or close to the same as McMurray's Gold Stars hybrids??

McMurray drop ships from Metzer Farms, hence the same availiability dates, same picture, higher prices, etc.

"Gold Star Hybrid" is due to copyright issues....

Just a warning...my 300 layer hens tend to go broody very often. I do not know why! Does this happen to anyone else?

I would love to see more pictures...

I got my order from them around a week ago (my friend is still raising them for me for a bit....)

I ordered 1 drake a 4 females, they slipped an extra female in there so now I get 1 drake and 5 females!

I would love to see what other people's Golden 300's look like!

I will post pictures when I get more!

Thats interesting I got my layers around the same time as that, within a week or two.
