I bought these red goldens as eggs on ebay. I know there supposedly are no pure goldens here but was just wondering if these are red goldens for sure!

The coloring on all the birds in the 3rd pic don't look right.I would say they are definely croosed with something.In N.H.,Tony.

I still have 2 unrelated trios and extra male that is related to all the hens.I also have 2 black ringneck males and a silver male.These are the last of the birds for sale in 2010.

The Color Is Not Correct And The Barring On The Tails Of Most Is Off. Most Of Them Have Very Wide Barring On The Tail Primaries... Red Goldens Have A Much Different Pattern --- More Like A Leopard Spotting Than A Wide Barring. Look At Pic #2 Far Left, See The Wide Barring Compared To The Other 2 Birds In The Pic? Opposite Is True In Pic #3 Bird On The Far Left Has The Leopard Spot Pattern And The Other Have The Wide Barring Pattern

The two with the leopard spots on their tails are males, the others with the bars are females.
