Seeing your Boston Terrier also reminds me of one we used to have, Dobey's "Sonny Boy." He was a champion and a real hell-raiser. Our neighbors chicken escaped once into our yard, once, and that was all she wrote.

Sonny Boy took off across the yard, like a black and white rocket.
POW! He nailed that chicken at full speed and the two of them went rolling. He came up grinnig like only Boston Terriers can, and the chicken, welll... she just lay there. She died later that day.
Sonny Boy, for his part, was pleased at his prowess.

My mom always called them "Rat Terriers," because they used them for pest control on the farm.
Yours seems to be adapted to the chickens, but dont turn your back on him for too long. He has a lot of fight bred into him (literally), so be careful.
