So I took this picture a few years back,and it is just too great to not share. So for some context, this chicken 's name is StrechikinsStrechikins. She is a Speckled Sussex hen, and is about 4 years old as of now. She is extremely curious(hence the name) and while taking pics a few years back I happened to take this. So, here it is. Enjoy

Thank you. Yeah, I love SS too. We actually got her with some other and were told by the breeder they were all Rhode Island Reds. Well, he was wrong I guess. I am happy he was though,wouldn't trade her for the world

We thought there would be an issue between our cat Morgan Le Fey (named after Merlin’s consort), however you can see in this picture that the girls intimidate HER!

We had to watch our neighbor’s Tom at his first encounter. He geared up into his crouching hunting mode thinking he was going to have dinner perhaps? Three of the girls stood up to him, nearly shoulder to shoulder, puffed out their chests and he backed off. It was hysterical. Now he just walks around them like nothing.
