They are so underrated in the chicken world. I love when other people recognize how special they really are. Many people dismiss them as dumb animals.

This is my dear Daisy, a white leghorn and the greatest hen ever.

Thanks. Daisy passed a few years ago from salpingitis but she is the reason I am here today and have more chickens. She was an amazing friend. Some more photos.

I've had to run the hotwire fence around all nearby trees too. Lil stinkers climb one tree then use branches like bridges.. Did you know a possum can jump 10 feet?
