What kind of duck Is Dahlia?Do you have others? I have found myself raising a single Duckling, as I rescued it from a precarious position early on. It has a black bill and legs and is similar in appearance from a distance. On looking closer at Dahlia her beak is darker black and differently shaped. Maybe I’m splitting hairs. Your duck is very good looking either way. How old is it in the picture? I’m trying to estimate the age of mine. Good luck!

Thank you! Dahlia is a Dutch Hookbill from last year's hatch. I breed them so I do have others (both of her parents are here on the farm as well. I don't remember exactly how old she was, but I'd say she was about 3-4 weeks in this picture.
