It really does! He went silent and I looked over to him and he was like that! We had lost our duckling just a few days ago so my heart about leapt from my chest!

I'm sorry for the loss of your duck.
It's amazing how the chicks can just fall over and sleep that way. Sometimes when my hens are sunning, I get a fright.
