I don't have good photos of Mocha with her babies because if I tried to get that close she'd peck my eyes out.

The first day they were out of the nest I scooped one up to bring it closer to her when it had gotten behind some of the clutter and she came at me like an angry dragon.

Flockmaster Rameses. 1.5yo Blue Australorp (who will soon be sold because he's breeding with his granddaughters now and I don't want to carry the line-breeding any further).

Mocha, 2yo Mottled Java, the babies (BBS Australorp), and the one Blue Australorp hen that Mocha allows anywhere near her precious chicks. (If I can catch her and get a band on her, I'll call her "Auntie").
