When I have time I like to just sit over there at my feed room, feed them, and watch them eat...its very therapeutic and relaxing

Yep, if one of the parents was a real Ameraucana it more than likely would have had 2 blue egg genes and its offspring would have one therefore lay blue eggs.

Me too! Their voices are very therapeutic and there’s nothing like a chook who sits in your lap like a cat

My sweet little Poot (sablepoot) died yesterday. She had had some breathing problem, 2 trips to the vet antibiotics steroids wormer, nothing helped, we are heartbroken View attachment 2158787
