Picture Of The Week (POW) Information & Submissions

Thank you!
Oh, you must mean pipit!
I'm not sure, they all have the same father, but different mothers...
The father is a red and white EE mix rooster so most babies have EE bloodlines, and we have multiple different breeds of hens, 40+, so we don't know who bred who.
You think so?
Well, when Pipit’s egg was collected, was your deceased rooster with the hens that are his possible mothers?
I think it’s definitely possible. They have the same pattern (though they don’t have the same color), both have barring, and both have a pea comb.

I agree with that second statement, they do look alike now that I think about it🤔
We never really know whose egg is whose, we just throw a couple of round eggs under a broody hen, so I'm not sure whether Robin was in with the hens or not when we hatched Pipits egg...
(I'll let you know if I figure it out though :))

legless the pavlovskaya. so named because he had splay-leg at hatch and would just roll around until we put a bandage to hold his legs together. he runs like a speed demon now. i don't know how i got him to stand still long enough to take this picture.
*Whistles* Handsome boy!
