Maybe if I tell him that you asked he'll be ashamed of himself and start getting up on the roost without me putting him there.

I have to move anywhere from 1 to 5 girls into the coop every night. Most of them think they want to roost on the alpaca shearing stand outside the coop. A couple prefer the ladder in the feed room though they are not an every night thing. Celene (2021 Splash Ameraucana) is the most reliable "if I have to move only one hen".

Not really an entry, just an “update” on bob Ross. I guess. His colors are so cool , though and I’m going to be breeding his parents for a whole mini flock of Afro’d chickens
