Picture Of The Week (POW) Information & Submissions

I submitted four. The first is of my disabled chicken! Second, my rooster in two feet of snow was on a mission to find bugs Third, chickens claiming rooms and fighting with each other. Fourth, my girl is nosy and knows she is a pretty lady.

What color are the bottoms of her feet?

Pretty sure they're white. I'll have to double-check at roost time tonight.

No chance you want a butchered bird, disrobed, heart, liver, gizzard laid out for presentation as part of the calendar??? No? I thought not.

They hold still and don't jump down or turn their heads.

Your disabled rooster looks exactly like my rooster! Is yours an Easter Egger? Mine is.
Also what is wrong with him?

He is! He was attacked by a coyote and while trying to get away he dislocated a leg. Of course it all happened while we were on vacation and he somehow managed to get away and everybody else in the coop was ok. Poor guys leg never healed right and he could bounce around but he loved his little rides in the yard. He just recently passed of natural causes, but we made sure to give him a good life.

I would enter, but so many folks on here are actual photographers or have at least some actual photography skills/equipment. My inexpensive camera phone and I don't stand a chance - lol!

I don't know if I've seen any of your photography, but you can still enter. Even if I see that I don't stand a chance in a contest, I still will enter for fun.

Agreed. Someone in that flock isn't exactly what they say.
