Thank you @BastyPutt I will be separate them this week. How old for the hens to be ready to bread?

We usually wait until a year so we can see how they mature in terms of physical characteristics because we are going for complete show birds, mainly cockerels.

However, we've hatched from hens around 14 weeks I believe.

Oh wow! What an interesting bird! Beautiful!

Johosafat is the result of a cross between a golden laced polish and a bearded black. So technically because her lacing isn't acceptable, she would just be a mutt polish. Maybe a golden mutt?!

Quite a few of us are surprised by her colour, ok well guess I will go with a mutt chicken

Pepper is finally getting a little more curious about his surroundings. He peaked at the camera a couple times. Bad storm just blew through so they are all trying to get up on their roost.
