Picture Of The Week (POW) Information & Submissions

I did actually! They're grown now, and all beautiful! All 4 of the pullets actually went broody at one point or another this spring/summer, and raised their own babies! The cycle goes on. The rooster is the gentlest of giants, he's absolutely perfect and is very loving to his hens and the chicks, and respectful to humans.

All the pictures are beautiful, but I absolutely love that 2nd picture!

The Ayam Cemani mix to the left is the broody who raised them, the black pullet is not related to the others but is their broodmate.
@Pigeony, your photo’s got that magic — it just landed on the homepage as this week’s POW! ✨📸

Wow he is a gorgeous rooster! He turned out handsome and sweet, what a win!

My young turken cockerel, Tiny Tim.

Oh my gosh, he is so cute! :love
Thank you! Out of five chicks I got at a farm swap four were boys 😭 I rehomed the other three but kept Tim as he’s so much smaller than the girls, and so meek and mild they’ll have no problem bossing him around. Mostly I wanted the one pullet to have a friend as the older ones aren’t the most accepting.

I'm glad you were able to keep him, he is totally adorable. Sounds like he's the perfect friend for your one pullet!
