Your chickens adapt quickly to the snow!

We had our first snow of the season here today, but the hens are lucky that ground is still too warm for it to really accumulate. At the beginning of winter, my chickens don't like getting their feet in the snow, but they get used to it after a while.

I bet it took you a while to treat everyone for the lice. I know they have to feel better after the treatment.

Josie is so pretty I love her markings. Lacey flying always makes me smile. I can't imagine see that little pudgey body flying over.

Thank you! I guess it is more normal, but for a few years we have been getting it in march/april which isnt really normal. But feels weird having it so early now haha. Yes I love that too! She was puffed up telling him to get lost! Thats my girl! I will drive careful thank you!

They have to adapt quickly here or it will be a boring time lol!

Miley looks alot like her dad. She is so cute and I'm sure she has that fiesty attude like her mom.

That's sweet the chickens can come to my house for tea and crumpets.

I think I see Bella in the back of the herd of chickens.

Buzz Jr. isn't such a little pullet anymore.

Peepers is getting to be a big girl too. Her comb starting growing in. She is also making different sounds now.

They are getting big. I think they grow to fast I would love to keep them at the little chick stage for at least a year.
