Pictures at the point of hatch

If I had better viewer windows to work with I may have done the same.

The Nurture Right 360 makes for incredible viewing during the hatch. I also have an IncuView and you can see everything but the images aren't as clear because of the texture of the plastic.

have the Nurture Right 360, as well, but it took me a recall, a replacement unit and a whole lot of experimentation before I could honestly say "I like it." I do really enjoy the wide viewing angles, though. That's the biggest bonus of the NR360.

I have 2 NR360s and I haven't had any issues even after about 12 hatches thank goodness! Did you have an early model before they fixed the fan guard and humidity thingy? I'm just curious if I should expect something to break, lol!

I did, but that wasn't what went south on me. It was the auto-turner. We never saw it move, but we heard it. I would question whether or not it was moving, so I tested it ... multiple times on multiple occasions ... and the turner always moved perfectly whenever I pushed the test button, so we left it alone. That first hatch, we got only one live chick from a dozen eggs. There were quite a few quitters and a few that made it almost to the end before dying in the shell. We chalked it up to inexperience and started over, this time with a full batch.

Things seemed to be moving along until one day while I was adding water to the reservoir. I heard the turner motor kick in, but nothing moved. So, I pressed the button and voila ... it moved perfectly. The only time that turner budged was when the button was pressed manually! We lost the entire hatch of critically endangered Nankins.

I went back and forth with the company for months, always speaking to "the wrong person" in "the wrong department," that is, whenever I actually got hold of someone to chat or e-mail. To say that I was livid is an understatement!

I went back to TSC, where I bought the unit, to look at other models, and got to talking pros and cons with the department manager ... just by chance, mind you. It had been well over six months since I'd bought the original unit, so I didn't expect TSC to do anything about it ... but I was wrong. The manager told me to bring it back in and he would give me another, this time one that already had the upgrade. He was as good as his word, and I've had several successful hatches with the new NR360. In fact, we're cranking it up again tonight to join in the Halloween Hatchalong, so "Here we go again!"

I already have a picture of this guy from a different angle on this thread but above him is one who couldn't quite shake his shell fully off.

I would have posted 1000 pictures if I had them, but I never snap the picture at the right time. The Serama was in the shell when I pressed the camera button but due to a delay in the camera he popped his head out as the picture took. I had to make a thread just for an excuse to post it.
My son told me yesterday, "Mom, you are never borrowing my phone again. There are a thousand pictures of chickens on my phone now!":lau

Now I have an incubator I can actually see into here is the second chick hatching today
This is was it's egg

He has that egg shell stuck on a feather and is dragging it around. Sorry can''t help you mate, have to wait for your buddies to arrive.

that happens in a lot of hatches, fun to watch them with their struggles in the first hour of life outside the calcium prison.
