"Speckles" is a Speckled Sussex. Not to clever on the name she is the sweetest chicken ever.
Awe so fuzzy and cute. I miss this stage!
I'm so excited! Two of my new peeps are Speckled Sussex. I knew they'd be pretty, but if they come close to Speckles, they'll be magnificent!
It sure doesn't last long, but fun for a little while. I can't wait to start seeing the personalities emerge.
Speckles was given to me when she was about 6 weeks old. I didn't plan on it but I will get more speckled Sussex now. She sits on my knee every morning. . You'll love yours. I heard they get more and more white every time they molt.
In the peeps photo that I posted, that's one of the speckled sussex looking into the camera. She's the littlest size-wise, but she's the snarkiest so far. She'll sit quietly in my hands for about a minute and then I have to put her down because she goes all flapper-bird on me. As soon as she's down, she runs back over to my hand and hops up and down. Nutty little thing.
Lol sounds about right.
I took some cool pictures today!
Very cute pictures.love the first one pretty hens.
