There are three different sizes based on the breed. I currently have red and yellow golden and lady amherst in 8'x20' runs with 8'x4' shelters in the back. The Reeves and Elliots are in pens that are 12'x20' with 8'x4' shelters. The Peafowl are in pens that are 16'x20' with a 8'x12' shelter. Not all the pens are built yet, I need to built pens for the Elliots and Black Shoulder Peafowl, but this is what I am planning on. Construction begins tomorrow. I had all my pens built but then I bought more pheasants while the chicken coop was under construction so I had to do some moving around as well as putting the yellow golden in a temporary pen so that is why my above statements may not make sense when viewing the pictures. I would like to add peach golden, mikado and impeyan next year, hopefully I will have enough room as well as money.

Here's a bit of my work in progress.....

Here's their shelter..... It's divided into two sections, one for the silvers and one for the melanistics.

Just got started setting a few posts for the pens.

I started making the additional pens for the black shoulder peafowl as well as the reeves. I plan on taking pictures of construction phase in case anyone is interested. However, that being said I planned on doing the same thing when I started and that didn't turn out as planned. Oh well as they say, the best laid plans...
