Nelda was the sweetest one of all the SS I hatched. Other than Lexie and Ivy, I have two Barred Rock girls that hatched with Nelda and the Ameraucanas, Becca and Mandy-DH named them.Here they are-these are from my friend, Kate's roo & hens, but this picture was taken five weeks ago-they won't hold still!:

Cynthia, they are beautiful. I will probably wait to get them in the spring and I would like Barred Rocks, Partridge and Columbian Rock, and of course a Sussex. I'm like you - I like chickens that look like chickens!

Wow your chicks are so very pretty. I really like the Speckled Sussex. Your Ameraucanas is really neat too, she looks almost slivery blue. Beautiful!
